This Privacy Policy describes how Sèned ("the App", "we", "us") handles information in connection with your use of the iOS application Sèned, a document scanner and archive published by Rosslyn Corp ("the Operator").

1. Summary

Sèned is a small-business document scanner. It captures images of receipts, permits, inventory, and similar paperwork, and stores them in your own Google Drive under a folder you control. We do not run a backend server. Your documents never pass through our infrastructure. Other than your Google account email (used for sign-in), we do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

2. Information We Access

2.1 Google Account Email

When you connect Google Drive, the App receives your Google account email address via the standard Google OAuth flow. The email is stored on your device (and inside your own Google Drive's app-specific config file) so the App can show you which account is connected. It is not transmitted to us.

2.2 Documents You Capture

Images of documents you choose to capture with Sèned are stored:

On your device — under the App's private storage folder.
In your own Google Drive — under a folder called "Sèned" (or whatever you rename it to). These files are written using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope, which means the App can only access files it has created — it cannot read, modify, or list any other files in your Drive.

We do not have access to those files. The Operator cannot see your documents.

2.3 Document Metadata

Information you enter about each document (title, category, notes, issue / due / expiration dates) is stored alongside the image on your device and in your own Drive.

3. Google User Data Disclosure

Sèned's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

We only use the drive.file scope. This restricts the App to files and folders it created in your Drive. We cannot read your other Drive files.
We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the App's user-facing features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger / acquisition (in which case this Policy will be updated).
We do not use Google user data for advertising.
We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your explicit consent for specific support cases, it is necessary for security (e.g. investigating abuse), or it is required by law.
We do not use Google user data to train AI / machine-learning models.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not include:

Analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, etc.)
Crash reporting that includes user content
Advertising identifiers
Location data
Contacts
Microphone or audio data

5. Where Your Data Lives

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data is deleted when you uninstall the App or use the "Remove local docs" option in Settings.
Drive data stays in your Google Drive under your control. You can delete it at any time via the Google Drive web or mobile app.
You may revoke Sèned's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions . Doing so will not delete the files that the App has already created in your Drive.

7. Children's Privacy

Sèned is rated 4+ but is designed for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Security

Communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS. OAuth tokens and the admin PIN are stored in the iOS Keychain. We do not transmit your data to any server we operate.

9. Your Choices

Sign out of Google Drive at any time in Settings.
Switch Google accounts — the App will ask whether to upload your local documents to the new account or remove them.
Use Sèned offline — Drive sync is optional; you can use the App entirely on-device.
Revoke OAuth access via your Google Account permissions page.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at https://sened.rosslyncorp.com/privacy.html with a new "Last Updated" date.
